Best Practices

  • Always Use a Wait Time: Avoid immediate actions (0 minutes). A short wait of 5-10 minutes feels more natural to the customer and prevents any system race conditions.

  • Clear Naming: Name your flows descriptively (e.g., "Post-Purchase NPS Survey - 2 Day Wait"). This makes managing your "Existing Flows" dashboard much easier.

  • One Goal, One Flow: Keep your Simple Flows simple. If you have two different goals (e.g., a welcome email and a post-purchase survey), create two separate Simple Flows.

  • Check Your Status: Always double-check that the Status toggle is Active. A common mistake is saving a flow but forgetting to activate it.
