Best Practices for Analysis

  • Analyze Visit Intervals: Use the Intervals Chart to understand your natural customer purchase cycle. This insight is crucial for timing your re-engagement (e.g., "We miss you") and promotional campaigns effectively.

  • Monitor Repeat Visit Rate: The percentage in the Customer Visits Funnel (from Visit 1 to Visit 2) is a key health metric for your business. A low or declining rate may indicate issues with your product, pricing, or post-purchase experience.

  • Identify Seasonal Trends: Use the Customer Visits Count chart to identify months with a high volume of "First Visits" (a good time for acquisition campaigns) versus months with strong "Repeat Visits" (a good time for loyalty campaigns).

  • Drill Down into Sales Data: If you see an unusual pattern (e.g., a sudden drop in repeat visits for a specific month), switch to the Customers Sales tab to investigate the specific transactions that occurred during that period.
